Weydon School, Phase 3

The globe building is the third phase of building works at Weydon School. This block contains 23 classrooms, offices, learning resource centre, toilets and ancillary rooms. This was a design and build contract where we were appointed for our technical and design capabilities. A complete design brief was required from us where we turned a specification into complete working drawings. It was required of us to include cable calculations, containment layouts, lighting designs (including lux calculations), a complete fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and liaising with the mechanical contractor to ensure a complete working product for the client.
