We are a long established professional electrical contractor with over 30 years’ experience who use our well organised, loyal workforce and technically experienced management team to provide all types of electrical installation.

From the initial design, using software such as AutoCAD®, SketchUp® and Revit®, our experienced in-house staff are able to work with you from design stage through to the complete installation with handover documentation.

We are proud to have long successful relationships with our main contractors, and our high return business across our wide customer base speaks for itself. Our commercial projects include sectors such as schools, hospitals, churches and leisure facilities. Our residential projects cover all aspects from high-end to new build properties, refurbishments and small extensions. We have a designated team for small works with an in-house NICEIC Qualified Supervisor for small works, inspection, testing and maintenance. We will be happy to provide references.

Directed from the top our hands-on approach, together with our attention to detail ethos ensures a successful partnership between all parties concerned. Our team are pro-active in all aspects of sub-contracting and all site queries are dealt with promptly and above expectation. We understand the importance of a budget and our own cost surveyor works closely with the main contractor to ensure there are no final account surprises.

We are affiliated to the NICEIC, Constructionline and SSIP/SMAS proving the high quality of our services and our commitment to health & safety, with which we have an exemplary record. Based in Hampshire, we have easy access to the South East and London. We are proud that our workforce is long-standing with many of our original apprentices continuing to work for us showing a good team spirit and heritage. They are now using their expertise to train our new government approved apprentices.

Electrical Contracing Process

Stage A - Enquiry

Whether it’s a phone call, email or something through the post, as soon as an enquiry is received it is logged and sorted by due back date. This is to ensure that our busy estimating team sets aside enough time to provide a quality and professional service for each of our customers. We believe customer communication is key at this stage and it is usual for one of our estimators to be in contact to verify important information promptly.

Stage B - Tender Proposal

Our highly experienced estimating department prepares the estimate using the information provided and where necessary works with third parties to ensure that current regulations and legislations are adhered to.

Stage C - Design Preperation

Stage D - Project Preparation

Before works start on site we liaise with our customers to ensure that we are working to the current working drawings and specification. It is also at this stage that the drawings will be checked through to ensure that the working drawings are the ones our tender has been priced to. If there has been changes, the customer is then advised as soon as possible to negate any unwanted surprises.

Stage F - Post Completion Liason

At St George Electrical we strive to go above and beyond the expectations of our customers. On top of the standard handover documentation of certificates and where applicable ‘As Installed’ electrical layouts we provide a residents’ handbook to give the end user a ‘how to’ guide for the services we have installed within their property.
